About RWC Weather

RWC Weather is an amateur personal weather station in Redwood City, California, collecting data continuously since November 2020.

The station sits ~125 m (420 ft) above sea level in Emerald Lake Hills between Redwood City and Woodside. Towards the top of the canyon, it experiences milder winter nights than the valleys below, protection from westerly winds, and much less summer fog than the coast.

Powered by a wireless Davis VP2 with WeatherLink Live, Cumulus software, a Python Flask backend, and a Next.js / React frontend.
